About Hit & Run Training Facility

Our Mission

To develop strong, confident, well-rounded athletes by providing elite-level training, a supportive environment, and the mindset tools to succeed both on and off the field.

Our Story

Hit & Run Training Facility was born out of a simple belief: You didn’t come this far just to come THIS FAR. We saw a need for a space that truly invests in total player development — not just skills, but character, grit, and growth.

What started as a dream to serve local athletes has grown into a 7,000 sq. ft. performance space where players train with purpose and passion. We’re here to develop hitters, pitchers, catchers, and leaders — one rep at a time.

What We Offer

Our facility is designed with the athlete in mind:

Why We’re Different

We’re not just a training space — we’re a player/family-first culture.
At Hit & Run, you’ll find:

Meet the Founder / Staff

Roger Garrett, Founder Roger began his baseball journey in tee-ball and played all the way through college as a catcher. He credits his high school coach, Tony Henderson at Hickman Mills High School for teaching him the value of fundamentals, patience, and understanding—principles he still applies today.
Roger started coaching in 2008 as a volunteer in recreational leagues. In 2011, he transitioned into competitive softball with the Lady Knights, and in 2015, he founded KC Ambush. He’s enjoyed success at the highest levels of softball by creating a fun, family-first culture. For Roger, this has always been more than a job—it’s a hobby and a passion, rooted in love for the game and the players.

“We’re here to build better players — and even better people.”
